VISITING KARISMA WITH CHILDREN IS A BREEZE!

We have focused in services for families with children and in making it easy to visit Karisma in many ways. Our spacious and clearly laid-out center is easy to navigate with children, and there is plenty of room for strollers – and if necessary, you can borrow a stroller from our information desk. Our fun play areas and excellent childcare facilities are a definite plus, and we receive a lot of praise for them. Come and see for yourself!

Karisma's restaurants offer tasty options for visitors of all ages. Baby food can be heated up in the restaurants or in the lobby area of the Papu Park playground. Best of all, Karisma's events program naturally takes families and children of all ages into account, so there are plenty of fun activities on offer several times a year!

PLAY AREAS FOR BIG AND LITTLE ONES

We have plenty of smiling little ones here! We have built versatile and exciting play areas here at Karisma, where children can romp around and spend time under the supervision of their parents or other guardians.

• The jungle-themed adventure world Papu Park is suitable for children aged 2–8. The indoor playground is free of charge and located on the first floor of Karisma, at the end of Tokmanni store. You can find more information about Papu Park below.

• For the youngest members of the family, there are activities and things to do on the second floor near the wooden staircase in Pikku Papu Park.

• In the summer, you can enjoy outdoor play in Karisma's fenced outdoor playground at the end of the supermarket K-Citymarket.

FREE INDOOR PLAYGROUND PAPU PARK

Here in Karisma, the most popular playground is the jungle-themed indoor playground Papu Park. Recently renovated, the approximately 300-square-meter Papu Park is the kingdom of our very own parrot mascot, Papu Kaijanen

Papu Park stimulates the imagination and delights children with a variety of climbing and balancing activities, a digital wall game, and a slide with foam balls. The renovated lobby of Papu Park has a microwave, toilet, and baby care room for families

Papu Park is free of charge and suitable for children aged 2–8. The playground is located on the first floor next to the Tokmanni store, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Papu Park is open every day between 8–20 o’clock, unless otherwise stated.

CHILDCARE AT KARISMA

Sometimes it's good to have your hands free and a quiet moment to take care of things. That's why we offer childcare at Karisma several times a year. The free childcare service is suitable for children aged 3–7 and is supervised by trained instructors.

The daycare can accommodate around 20 children at a time. When registering, children will receive a Papu Park high-visibility vest and a name tag. Each child can stay for one hour so that we can offer the service to as many families as possible. In 2025, Karisma is offering free childcare between 10–16 o'clock on Saturdays: August 30, September 13, October 4, November 1, November 28, and December 20.

Papu Park is normally open during childcare hours, so children can also come and play under parental supervision.

OUT OF ENERGY – NEED TO BORROW A STROLLER?

If you've left your stroller at home and your little one is starting to tire, you can borrow a stroller from the K-Citymarket information desk while you shop at the mall.

You can also use the supermarket's shopping carts and kids' favorite toy cars throughout the shopping center, so you can easily carry all your purchases with you while you shop.
